At this time last year, I was suicidal and broken and brimming with festering self hatred when I wasn't depersonalized or burying my feelings in whatever escape I could find.
Today I looked at myself in the mirror, did my hair up a little and said - without any kind of preamble - "I'm cute".
And now I'm in tears because of it. I had basically given up on myself and my life at one point.
Self worth and valuing yourself because you're fixing yourself is fucking...amazing.

@meimeimeixie I haven't known you for long but I'm conceited enough to say i'm proud of you. It's so hard to pull yourself back from that abyss, even if you do have a stable network of friends. i know of at least one person in my life who didn't. It's heartening whenever somebody does, whenever they realize they're worth everything.
