I like Tucson a lot, and I can see myself living here within the next five years.

@aquinton I can only assume this post means you’ve been kidnapped and are trying to signal the authorities without drawing attention DONT WORRY HELP IS ON YHE WAY

@dan no, I’m actually dead serious! It’s so nice to be in a big weird quirky city, where the weather has such a profound impact on how everybody lives

@aquinton @dan I would prefer to be on Angela’s side during the Water Wars.

@aquinton I know it’s usually like 10 degrees cooler year-round than up here in phx. But at what cost? At what cost.

@dan I’ll be in Phoenix over the weekend of the 18th and I’m prepared to move the green pin on my AZ map if necessary

@aquinton Nice. I don’t know how extensive this tour is, but if you’re a fan of being outdoors (and maybe not being cooked to death in the summer), I’d also recommend stops in Sedona and Flagstaff.

@dan it’ll be a pretty brief tour, but it’s wholly geared towards the outdoors: I am running a 37 mile race on the 19th that begins in Mayer and ends in Black Canyon City. My parents are crewing for me and we got an Airbnb in the north side of the city as a sort of base camp, so we don’t have to drive up from Tucson and then back down again on race day.

@aquinton Oh, wow, nice! Well if you’re on that side of things and would prefer a shorter adventure, Prescott Valley and Jerome are cool quick trips.
