My running coach just posted the final seven weeks of my Squamish 50 training schedule. It contains three consecutive weekends where I need to run six hours on Saturday, and between two and four the following Sunday. I’m going to perish, but then I’m going to become incredibly powerful.
@theLUCASTDS yep! It’s tough but I’ve managed up to 8 or 9 on training runs, and 10 to 12 on race days. I’ll have up to 17 hours to complete the course in Squamish, so training for a long time on my feet is worthwhile (if daunting)
@aquinton that’s truly impressive. Squamish is beautiful! Hopefully the weather is okay on race day
