was just offered a choice between going up to 25mg adderall or switching to vyvanse. i chose the adderall even though it was probably not the better idea
also decided to talk about my occasional bouts of anxiety and was given a prescription for lamictal, whose side effects apparently include... anxiety. great

my psychiatrist office is way too eager to just write prescriptions without disclosing the potential side effects or even mentioning what it's normally prescribed for
i mentioned anxiety and was given lamictal. the side effects include anxiety (not mentioned). it is normally prescribed for bipolar (also not mentioned). bipolar was never actually mentioned by either me or the nurse

@atinyfairy yeah, apparently it gets the job done for a lot of people. i'm willing to give it a shot, but i'm just kinda miffed that the NP who prescribed it to me didn't bother telling me anything about it beforehand (as usual)
