So, are they claiming to have trademark or copyright over it? Because if they're claiming trademark, I hate to break it to 'em, but that can't not enforce that for years then just decide to start. They lost that trademark through non-enforcement.

(Copyright is a different story, but even then, fuck 'em. Intellectual property is theft and pride flags belong to the fucking people.)

Incidentally, can you even copyright a flag? Trademark, sure, but then you've got the problem mentioned. But copyright? I'm not so sure about that one, chief.
