So, I finally saw what Trump actually said about bleach being a cure and, just,,,my gods. From what I can tell, he wasn't suggesting ingesting it. He was suggesting *aspirating* it. That's,,,what,,,no! that's not,,,no! Good gods, why?!
On the bright side, it does confirm my suspicions as to why he pushed (hydroxy)chloroquine so hard, but not remdesivir: no one's actually mentioned the latter near him, probably for fear of him assuming it's a cure too.

Like, when I was walking home from getting my meds last week, I was trying to figure this out and the only thing I could figure is that no one mentioned it near him.
He literally suggested bleach aspiration after finding out that it (predictably) kills SARS-CoV-2. I wouldn't be surprised if *no one* in his staff has mentioned the current findings on remdesivir near him, after that debacle and the debacle on chloroquine.
