If you're gonna propose writing english with runes, for fuck's sake, at least use the anglo-saxon runes. They're more fit for purpose on the basis of being, well, part of the english lineage.

This reminds me that I should:
A) write a blog post on a proposed system for modernizing Anglo-Saxon runes, and
B) get around to releasing the Ibus-table file I made for Anglo-Saxon runes (as well as reinstalling it on my system)
(And/or, optionally C: rewrite that file as a .mim file instead of using an IME meant for a Chinese-like language)
