If the founders had put driving a carriage in the bill of rights instead of bearing arms, we'd be having debates today over whether you should need a license to drive a car. Right-wingers don't actually care about whether bearing arms is an actual right that makes any sense; they just care about deifying a piece of paper written by some dead white men hundreds of years ago.
