I need non US Americans to understand that it takes days, almost a whole week to travel across the United States without using a plane.
Using a plane requires you to be and remain unthreatening to the State. To say nothing of the inherent risk of flying with the issues going on regarding Air Traffic Control.
It takes most US Americans hours to get to their state capital.
We are not a European sized country. Descending upon Washington DC en masse is not possible for the average person.
Resisting this dictatorial federal government will need to include ignoring it. Not ignoring the damage it's doing, but operating independently from it. Empires crumble when they get to a size where they cannot exercise local control over their whole land area. Focusing on building dual power and mutual aid is materially beneficial.
@CorvidCrone also if the blm protests taught us anything its that there are no morals to appeal to and the government as a whole doesnt care how upset we are. They would rather kill us than concede one foot away from fascism, and our millitary both foreign and domestic focused are more than happy to open fire. So a mass decent on DC would not play out how it would in europe. I.E. alot of people would die, even if it was a riot unlike what it would most likely be, people holding signs and walking
@Pineywoozle @CorvidCrone u didnt read my post at all, I feel. harris is a bastard cop and a war hawk. She supported the crushing of the blm protests
@budsofstone I don’t give a flying fuck what anyone thinks of any candidate who isn’t running. She is on record supporting peaceful protests. All she has ever condemned is any kind of violence or looting. My response was to how do we safely & peacefully protest the fascist who are currently in power and would shoot us without a moments hesitation unless we show them massive numbers are engaged. That’s the point of the post you were replying to. Not your opinion of Kamala etc. @CorvidCrone
@budsofstone and don't forget the GENOCIDE
