@moss You can take benadryl when u get a migraine. Its what they give you in the er but iv, plus reglan for nausea so you can take dramamine for nausea. Now for preventives, cgrp inhibitors are really the only thing made specifically for migraines and there are no side effects besides sleepness for 24 hours after injection. You might even be able to get your pcp to prescribe it. It lasts for a whole month and it doesnt wear off like botox. I had daily migraines and now i only have 4 in a month

I am already on more mg than recommended Zyrtec for mast cell issues. I’ll message my allergist about it first, since he’s overseeing the high doses of Zyrtec H1 and Pepcid H2 antihistamines.
I do have reglan & another in the same family, but I tend to aim for odansetron when I can— the drowsy from reglan doesn’t mix well with the current depressive episode
