I'm literally an American in the South. I am not from the Netherlands.
I just chose a European instance to make it less likely for the server to be seized by the FBI or something.
One of the things I used to do was visit the preserved museum-ified slave plantations. One reason I deplore racism so much was because I saw its impacts. I saw the unmarked graves and stuff. Really spooky stuff.
Also, the downtown area of the city I live in has a plaque where the slave market used to be.
Also, I live in what racist northerners would call the "bad side of town" so I know what systemic racism does to places.
I am of the belief that systemic racism, while it primarily impacts black people, also indirectly hurts everyone else too.
Underfunded schools make everyone less well educated, black or white, as an example.
The only reason Americans don't have nice things is because white people are willing to go without in order to ensure the continued oppression, unemployment, and disenfranchisement of black people.
@burnoutqueen Hmm...I don't have nice things because I'm poor. Although, I am enjoying my little second-hand HP Laptop and I have a nice Lenovo tablet. Why? Are there black people handing out Thinkpads and that nice 9" gaming tablets I should know about?
Universal healthcare is largely opposed by racist white people, as a simple example of it.
@burnoutqueen @praetor you can see this in Oregon and Washington they have health care for the us because its all yt people and if you don't know y it is all yt people you should look it up.
@burnoutqueen @praetor yeah its bad, when I lived there, me and one of my partners were the only not yt people I really saw. and it was worse than florida(where i grew up) as afar as bigots
