HRT question, rectal progesterone
So when taking progesterone rectally, is the dosage the same?

@iro_miya well depends on what you mean. Rectally your body aborbs more of it than orally. But as far as what dose you should be taking yes take whatever you were taking orally cause progestrone doseage is generally too small. As long as your not getting side effects

@budsofstone@computerfairi.es that's interesting, because I'm already taking more orally than what's prescribed to me, so maybe I should take less

@iro_miya you can take like 600mg+, i take 200mg rectal and would take more if i had it tbh. There isnt much risk at all with prog other than it can make you sleepy and at really really high dosage it can make your blood pressure low and can rasie your t a little
