software people: there has to be a working image viewer in 2025, right? all I ask is:
- no extra GUI, just the image is shown
- still maintained
- runs on wayland
- actually displays images correctly
swayimg is badly broken on half the inputs I use and does not scale images right, plus seems barely maintained; imv crashes all the time and is unmaintained; emulsion is unmaintained; there are a few toy rust ones that don't have usable UIs yet... what is going on for real
@budsofstone feh is X-only and mpv doesn't work well with static images (treats them as 1-second animations)
