I think the thing alot of people don't ask themselves about LLM "ai" is do we need it. At a time when the planet we live on is being killed for short term profit of a few. What great need are LLMs fulfilling that justifies the any extra resources being spent.

I mean people dont want to admit that reducing the strain is the only way to stop ecological colapse. And no new tech will change that. But you know still, the reason this is being put everwhere is there is no use case for it.
