I don't know enough about Iris Valera to have an opinion here but the fact that US Conservatives support the "counter-culture" in Venezuela reminds me of where I came from. The post-revolution govs act like the shitty Tankies that they are and make people miserable. Then the people turn to the counter culture that was laid there like a trap by US imperialists to gather their support for capitalism - 1/2

In the end social capitalist States wielding the banner of socialism give more fuel for imperialists' red scare.
