Most of the places where it's called "socialist country" in the world right now is nothing but stages for state capitalists, a grand masquerade for state capitalists who call themselves communists to convince people that there's a thing called "state communism" ,and state capitalists who call themselves liberators to sell the idea of "free capitalism" and evoke red scare sentiment.
In the end, what these common people want is freedom. But they'll never even get close to it until they realize that they need neither the State nor capitalism, and in essence, unjust, brutal hierarchies that were taken for granted.
Capitalism and the state goes hand-in-hand. The State can not actuate its political influence without private industries and capitalists can not protect their capital without a form of state-enforced violence.
