@cassolotl@queer.party I do this a lot, breaking down certain numbers that are "harder" for me to inherently remember (multiples of 7 and 8 can fuck OFF thanks) into "easier" numbers (5 and 6 imho).

it's difficult for me to come up with an example to show how my specific method works, but it's interesting to know I'm not the only one who interacts with math like that 🤔
