I think a lot of stress for (modern) artists might stem from the pressure to make something 100% unique, which isn't a thing? at all???
everything is based on or inspired by something or someone else
even the oldest myths and stories have common themes that are found worldwide, such as The Great Flood
plagiarism is bad, but it is also very much an intentional act of making money off of other people's creative work
sharing ideas and/or themes is not a crime!!!

"this reminds me of (a different artist)" is NOT an insult???
Not everyone online has the academic critic language you're looking for as a rising creative to point out the things you want to hear
also, sometimes artists INTENTIONALLY reference themes and ideas!! they might want you to comment if you noticed!
you are not immune to others influence or influencing others
artists do not live in a vacuum devoid of interaction and influence
