I want to start working gig jobs during my summer break but i am afraid of capitalism and bosses fucking me up but also I want to be at least financially independent in some way
sigh
it doesn't help that my parents are pushing me to do this because I am financially dependent on them
does anybody have any advice for that

@tillianisafox tl;dr I didn't pick up any jobs when I was in college, and I feel like that sort of held me back for when I finally did graduate and needed to work full time
but,...I feel a bit guilty suggesting to work the whole summer if you don't have to,...
maybe working part time in the summer could be enough to keep your skills fresh? 🤔
