@evie You shouldn't be. It's the ground that kills you. After a couple dozzen feet, more height makes no difference. Get higher still and your odds start going back up because you're now a very bad, human shaped glider, but you're still in control of where you hit so you can aim for snow if it's an option. Or the world's tallest tower of cardboard boxes. It doesn't happen often, but people who fall out of planes into 10 meters of snow come away pretty unscathed once they climb out of their Wile E. Coyote style hole in the ground.
