@evie the human eye doesn't see frames because it doesn't scan

@evie standard answer is 24fps, but it's more complicated than that for Reasons, and film/monitor fps above 24 can make real perceptual differences

spread your fingers out & wave your hand back and forth in front of your face until you get after-images, you don't actually need to move your hand that fast!
