some people seem to be worried that the recent leaks may somehow hurt nintendo in some way.
they really don't; nobody at nintendo other than maybe the legal team has any reason to really care at this point. These leaks technically happened a few years ago and simply weren't released publicly until now. They already upped their security and dealt with prosecuting the person who did the actual theft of files.
people arguing that the leaks are somehow hurting the reputation of individual employees don't realize that anybody who was involved in creating most of the stuff being leaked are either in such high positions that it won't effect them or have retired. its been nearly 30 years since most of the stuff being leaked was made.
