the problem with a cyberpunk dystopia is that the cyberpunk looks awesome and we miss the dystopia if we're not looking IMO?

so as a kid all I saw was a cool weird job, sleep your drive away and control huge machines and shit, and then it all got taken away from them one by one

b/c I was still so little I bought into "you are your job"

then I got older and I found out people weren't their jobs (tho some jobs will eat people alive internally) but some were enjoyable

new goals 😁
