The problem with looking up how to use geeky things (like integrating #Zotero with #Obsidian) is the demoralising amount of assumed knowledge underpinning most tutorials.

Another example: I want to verify myself on #Mastodon, and have been told how easy it is—but being told you need to enter a certain code block into another website (easy! so easy!🙄) doesn't actually tell you *how* to do that.

It's like you're telling me, "just use pen and paper!" and I'm thinking, what's a pen?

@ellane I made a really basic linktree like thing on glitch that you can "remix" yourself for free:
11ty-link-in-bio.glitch.me

It adds rel="me" to all the links, so the mastodon one should work to verify you.

It's built off #Eleventy (#11ty) so you can edit the content with just markdown.

@death_au @ellane love it! I may have to give this a shot as I've been meaning to make a linktree for a while and this seems neat.

Small FYI, on smaller mobile devices like my own a name can be big enough to be too wide to fit on the screen.

@hergaiety
Thanks for pointing it out. I think I've made that font size a bit more responsive now.
Also, if you remix your own, you can adjust the CSS however you like, but I'm also aware that may be a bit too technical, when I've tried to keep it simple.
