@hergaiety @zlatiah Oh, I hadn't forgotten Birdo. The original stuff published by Nintendo circa Super Mario Bros 2 even talks about how Birdo "wants to be a girl." They later just call her a girl. So yeah, trans Birdo confirmed. But Yoshi is definitely higher profile. Also, it's nice to see some trans masc representation.

Side note, Link from the Zelda games was originally designed to be gender ambiguous. Early Nintendo is full of trans rep!
