When I was young and romantic and still thought I was a guy, I wanted to be the shy wizard companion of a cool swordswoman. Now I’d rather be the swordswoman... or the tough older commander who helps her out.
Don’t know if I’d call it progress, exactly, but something significant’s changed.
(Apart from the obvious, that is.)
