I'm still a bit puzzled why charging DSLRs via USB isn't a thing. Come to think of it, I don't think I have seen a single DSLR that supports that.
But... why?! Smaller cameras support it, everything else supports it. But that $$$ equipment doesn't?

@fribbledom Sure, Samsung's NX1 charges over usb :) It's also, sadly, a swan song, and they stopped doing cameras entirely, but... what a swan song :)
