Of late I have taken up a new activity in my spare time:

INTERNET SPACESHIPS!
(The #StarCitizen kind)

This is thanks largely to a few friends, in particular @leinir showing off the game's current state and how gorgeous and rich it is despite still being in development.

I'm enjoying it a lot so far, in particular acquiring and customising a gorgeous Origin 315P. While not the sports car I once dreamed of IRL, the experience has ticked a lot of the same boxes. Also I can legally operate it!

@Doran_Eirok @leinir My internet spaceships of choice usually come from EVE Online (in rust we trust! 😎) but DAAAAAANG she's a beaut

@baralheia @leinir Thankies! ^^ Yeah I know EVE Online is kind of the original internet spaceships, I was always too intimidated to get into that one, but I'm having a lot of fun here and I love Star Citizen's ship designs so much.

@Doran_Eirok @leinir I don't blame you. Although the new player experience has improved significantly over the years, the learning curve is still really steep. Once you're acclimated though the game can be a LOT of fun. Star Citizen also looks like a blast, I should check it out! The ships are really pretty too. ^.=.^

@baralheia @Doran_Eirok Oh, and we've got a little telegram group for us fuzzballs what star citizens, where a few of us have been hanging out since earlier this year - small, but helpful group :) (oh, and if you do go in on your own, two important things: free-fly is the game at its jankiest, and hold the f key to interact with stuff ;) )
