i wonder if i can buy an nes-on-a-chip and make my own janky famiclone

looking it up, it seems like most of these things just use fpgas under their characteristic giant epoxy blobs, which is slightly disappointing but i guess makes sense

@typhlosion most famiclones still use dedicated NOACs! Usually VTxx chips from VR Technology which often have some enhanced features but not always. I think FPGAs would be too expensive for how dirt cheap the consoles are
