megalodon is a Sleek and Epic fork of the stinky official mastodon client that adds all of the stuff missing on the app!!! Such as: blacklisting those NASTY instances and refusing to login to them because we know better ;)
(note: this is a joke. i actually don't know. it looks alright I'd love to try it but Coincidentally both aethy and baraag are not recognized as "valid mastodon instances")

but maybe it's gotten a bit too "unrecognizable" maybe?
@lu9 tbh i couldn't figure out exactly how it recognises if the instance is supported or not. i'm not java brained enough
@lu9 yeah it opens up a can of worms that most open source developers are smart enough to stay away from. once you take that step you're suddenly not just a developer but a content moderator as well

even with like, instances you'd have valid reasons to block (i.e. openly fascist ones) cuz like no client Does that
