I'm going to talk about life stuff I guess because I don't know what to do
I recently found out my landlord is selling, the new owner might continue to rent the place out, but nothing is certain. My tenancy has a 2 month break clause, so if they want to, they can turf me out with 2 months notice
But they might not, and the deal isn't even done yet so at this point I'm just here not knowing. I might have to move 2 months after some point and I don't know when or if "some point" will ever happen. Or the new guy might double the rent and I'll have to leave anyway. But I can't plan for anything
For a few years I have been thinking about getting out of London and moving up north somewhere so this could be an opportunity to do that... but moving cities is fucking hard... could I even do that in 2 months? I still don't really know which city I'd go to
I had this plan that I would visit a bunch of places and get a feel for if I'd like to live there and I haven't even done that at all. Haven't had the energy or the time or (bunch of other stuff I don't talk about). I guess I need to just try and do it
I'm about to just book a train and a premier inn somewhere next weekend I think
so tonight while I am literally in the aforementioned premier inn the new owner called me asking about something or other the agency hasn't done so I asked him straight up if he'd continue renting to me & he said yes but he wants to talk to me in person on Monday so We Will See What Happens I Guess
I'm going away again to visit family from Wednesday to Saturday & it's absolutely nailed on that he'll phone me asking to meet on one of those days isn't it
of course he never turned up yesterday & has ignored my messages since then and I'm pretty fucking sick of all this!! this is my home and I'm completely in the dark about what's going on with it and no one gives a shit
