once again I am having landlord problems!!!!!
my flat and the one above are on a shared electricity meter, previously we'd each pay half to the landlord who would pay the bill
the new landlord seems to be incapable of sorting this out and i'm now getting overdue notices through my door
guess what happened!!!!! i hate this shit it just fucks my entire evening because i'm just sat here waiting to hear from the prick
i messaged him again asking hey what's going on do you still want to meet and he just said can we do it tomorrow instead

@lion absentee landlords are 100% the worst variety of an entire class of shit. My landlord will just randomly show up sometimes unannounced to do gardening. Other times he'll leave stuff partially done, like my front steps with one step missing, and then just disappear for a week. I hate it.
@vikxin yeah i hate that kind of half arsed shit. if they were TOTALLY absent it'd be like okay fuck it whatever I'll take things into my own hands. but they are still involved and everything still has to go through them, it just takes fucking ages to get them to do something that would only take 5 minutes to actually resolve. its so frustrating
@lion I wonder if you have any legal recourse. You and the other tenant withholding rent or something.
@vikxin i'm hoping it won't come to that & we can get it resolved before the next rent is due (on the 1st) but we will see I guess
update i messaged him about it & he replied asking if i was free this evening to which i replied yes anytime & you would think that would mean things are moving and we're going to meet and resolve this. but with this guy there's a 50/50 chance he will just ghost me for the rest of the day
