I got to hand-feed two red pandas yesterday! My parents booked this as a birthday present and it was an amazing experience; they are so cute up close and were so gentle when they took the food.
The enclosure was really nice, lots of space and natural trees for them to roam around in. The pandas didn't have to come and see us, they could have stayed in the trees if they wanted and food would be left for them, but they were very eager to see us.
After feeding them by hand we left some sticks of bamboo all around the enclosure for them to eat, and then they they roamed around the trees occasionally coming back down to see us.
