The eighth annual international Gender Census 2021 is now open until 10th March!
https://smartsurvey.co.uk/s/gendercensus2021
It's for anyone whose genders (or lack thereof) aren't described by the M/F binary. It's short and easy, and the results are useful in academia, business and self-advocacy.
Coming up to five hours, and 1,700 responses! 🤯
Good morning from the UK! The survey has been open for about 13 hours and we just hit 5,000 responses! 🚀
Almost 7,000 participants now, and I've pulled together a spreadsheet so that you call can see how it's going and to compare to the response rate from previous years!

We're only two days in so the line is very short, but - it's the red one on the left.
Well over 8,000 participants, and someone is submitting the survey every FOUR SECONDS. 😵

✨🌟 10,000! 🌟✨
We hit 10,000 responses about 24 hours after the survey opened!
We hit 21,000 responses just before midnight. It's now 10 minutes into day 5 and there's a reasonable chance we'll beat last year's record today. It's not even been a week!
It's not quite noon on day 5, and we just went over 23,000. That's 1,458 left to beat last year's record.
Well, we broke 2020's record of 24,350 responses sometime around 10pm on day 5, which took over a month last year. :D
Here's how things looked at the end of day 6 with >28,000 responses!

I am genuinely quite nervous that I'll run out of space on this Google Sheet...
@gendercensus I'm still willing to help with the technical aspects of processing the data if spreadsheets turn out to be not viable anymore. Or if they still are and a little bit of external processing is needed.
@gendercensus I've done some work with gnuplot, maybe that could work? Or not specialized enough?
@madewokherd I am kind of in a place right now where I don't even know enough to know how specialised I need something to be, and I've never heard of gnuplot! Anyway, it's on the back-burner - when I need help I will post here probably. :)
