Mental health

I don't know what I did, but the last few days of work have been extremely productive, and I have played a lot of Elden Ring, and made progress and enjoyed myself.

Like, my brain has been mostly behaving, which is WONDERFUL but I wish I understood how I did it so I can replicate it. I know this won't last forever but right now my brain is behaving like it used to.

@minego That happens to us when Lexi fronts.

Mental health

@madewokherd I've never experienced that, so I can't entirely understand... Do you have control or influence on that? Like, can you do something to cause Lexi to front when you want to get things done?

I am trying hard to understand my brain better and to help bring out the parts that I like.

Mental health

@minego Partial influence. We can try to go back to what it feels like for Lexi to front, or internally ask verbally. We've noticed lately that certain kinds of music seem to be a trigger. But it doesn't always work. We think she just needs rest sometimes.

Mental health

@madewokherd That makes sense. I often talk to my brain and ask it to behave... It seems dumb to say it like that but sometimes it helps.

@minego For us, the hard part of internal communication is listening.
