@hollie And I just tried a DM and it turns out you can't. So I don't think there's any work-around.
@madewokherd Well crap. That's frustrating. I have a couple dozen feeds I was going to use for this service.
I might try using one of my throwaway Mastodon accounts (like my original old .social one) to make the feeds and then follow them quietly from here.
@hollie Maybe after doing the first one you can reply to the bot's reply to you so at least there's just one thread?
@madewokherd Don't those replies still show up for everyone in their feed, though?
