That video of the little girl at daycare allowed to go to the bathroom and swear is actually super heartwarming. I dunno if she is dealing with copralalia or what but being supported to do what she has to do to self-regulate? awesome.

though, personally I think it'd be better to live in a society where she wouldn't have to curse in private. It's fucked up that she has things she needs to get out and isn't allowed to do it under all circumstances.

Like I get it, you're juggling caring for one child vs a room full of other children who would be fuming to have their kids learn "bad" language at daycare.

but come on, those parents fucking suck, it's so easy to say "some people need to do things to feel okay. if they aren't hurting anyone just let them be" swearing only has any power at all because people treat it so weirdly.
