thinking about the two scenarios of
— being told I am a toy over, say, a call or text (possibly involving hypnosis)
— being played with & instructed to perform functios of toys

& in the former case thinking, like, okay I am being affirmed as a "toy" but what does this "toy"-ness consist of? it seems "toy" could be replaced by any other noun & the scene would work just the same

& in the second case thinking "yup, here I [me, person] am, following instructions!
