the President has boycotted every single attempt to control COVID-19 due to his personal belief in a "natural herd immunity by exposure" - he's actively trying to get as many of us infected as possible, regardless of how many may die and how the virus might mutate. (+)

this is what i mean by state genocide. i don't know if i'll survive until my age group starts being vaccinated, if they ever will be. so yes i'm a bit upset at how everybody else is just cheerfully getting their shots and taking a cinnabon to go on their way home everywhere else
i'm deathly afraid i'll lose my parents to this and all i can do is blame the government and wait.
not to mention my parents STILL aren't part of the age group being vaccinated -- by the state government, not federal, which are at odds with each other -- and they have a wealth of comorbidities which make a recovery from covid almost certainly impossible
