when i was younger i remember there being this dutch avatar chat website that looked slightly similar to The Palace in that the avatars were 2D personifications overlaid simply over a photograph, but they had an avatar maker rather than just letting people use any image
i can't remember much other about it than they had "main characters" based off that avatar model and even had a drawn webcomic starring those characters, but i can't remember the name and i can't find anything about it anymore. someone please help me find this
