i wonder if 3D printing new shells for floppy disks using donor parts for the spring, metal guard and magnetic disk is possible.. surprised i haven't seen anyone attempt yet, would open the possibility for a lot of color variation on the plastic

of course, you can always just paint the plastic... but playing with translucent filament is a neat idea
