certbot made a meal of my nginx file because i was using the same file to route ejabberd connections and now everything's a mess!
it IS working now, firefox just had the old 301s cached...

just noticed a weird nginx thing where no matter how i rewrite the redirection rules i can't get http://links.netizen.club to properly redirect to https://links.netizen.club >:(
