i block often and i block early because it's the only curation left in the modern internet where everybody is piled up in the same commercial service rather than there being an ecossystem of websites i could just avoid going to instead
someone annoys you? gives you bad vibes? you just don't get along with them?
block. block liberally and without guilt. those people were not supposed to be in *your* personal internet in the first place. fight back
there is no moral high ground in gritting your teeth and putting up with the things that worsen your mental health. there is no strength to be proven in having a thick skin. if you want to debate with people of opposing views, understand that that is voluntary *work*, not duty.
the internet would be a happier place if we had all just stayed in our own isolated interest silos
if i wanted a free for all chatroom i would've joined one instead of being coerced into it in the name of "social" "media"
