are these still hot ass? is it still luck of the draw which chipset you'll get in these and only one is actually decent quality? is there a better option around the same price range?

@mavica_again I have one of those. It's okay. Not great but okay.

@drwho yeah i have one too! i just got a new setup that's Comp->HDMI->HDMI capture that is surprisingly not even as good!

i was looking for a new one of those like the image i posted, because mine is old and i need a second. and i guess i'll just have to settle for it being the same as a decade old one

@drwho doesn't look different from the one i'm already looking at on ebay, so i don't have to pay for jeff bezos' jet fuel

@drwho the question from my first post, if it wasn't clear, is if they've changed any in the past decade. i already have one, a decade old, i know how it works and looks... i want to know, from people who have bought the same looking thing more recently, if it had improved any... or if they're still offloading decade old unchanged STK1160 stock...

@drwho and not, particularly, where to find the product i had already posted a picture of a product page with a buy now link of

@mavica_again Oh! Okay.

The answer would be no, probably not, they haven't changed at all in the last decade.
