can someone please explain to me the utility of favouriting a post on mastodon in which the poster has asked a question

Maybe they thought it was a question that needed asking? Or they're used to the old Twitter model.

I don't understand how humans often act in very different contexts but....
@mavica_again There is none, except perhaps that the person who hit the button appreciates that the question was asked.
