@anna just make sure what revision you're getting, don't remember off the top of my head which but there's a couple where, unless they ported new drivers, the 2.4ghz chipset doesn't work

@anna misremembered, it's the 5ghz, and apparently only on the earliest hardware revision openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/archer

@anna unrelated, i have a copy of Tannenbaum's "Computer Networks", huge tome, part of recommended reading for my university course. i graduated 4 years ago. never cracked it open
