for as much as i despise the ubiquity of javascript and the paradigm of web browser as an operating system, index.html and app.js is the quickest and lowest entry barrier to getting a cross-platform client-side program as a by-product of enshittification
@mavica_again just another example of your point but the browser space especially the stuff pushed through standards orgs these days is not immune to this
@hipsterelectron not sure what import export would be in this case but at least webgbcam works without it
@mavica_again es6 modules don't work with file:// urls

@mavica_again can't use import/export without creating a self-signed local https server because of google misusing security for monopoly again
