can mastodon.social users see my replies if they're not following me? should i just stop bothering trying to reply to anyone on mastodon.social? because if i go to their post my replies certainly aren't there

@Radgryd https://computerfairi.es/@mavica_again/113828372184980546 does not show up in https://mastodon.social/@dosnostalgic/108585590610187521 which is indicative of a instance-level silence or suspend (if a user had me silenced or suspended my replies would still show)
@mavica_again True, but computerfairi.es does not show up in their moderated servers list. 🤔 Very weird.
