the internet didn't use to feel this lonely there used to be public chats that always had something going on and now nobody talks to me and i fall into desolate despair because i'm a traumatized fucking mess who can't make friends anymore because everybody is scared of talking to each other

I used to be a lot more talkative in public, but for the past couple of years I've been afraid of who might see me and target me if I say the wrong thing, because I live in the USA and it has become a nightmare here. I'm sorry.
