Hah, yes, I bricked the spare router because it wasn’t straightforward and I was impatient.
@plueschmaul Thank you! Yeah, well, the router I managed to brick was a TP link because I was impatient and didn’t get the tftp commands right.
@r4_ni Haven‘t done it in a while and don’t know newer routers but in Freifunk times TP Link devices were a good choice.
